Five Fitness Products That Will Transform Your Lifestyle

Are you looking to set new goals in 2021? Whether you’re trying to lose weight, put on muscle, get faster, or eat healthier, there are tons of new health and fitness products. These are a couple of products I would recommend my clients to use depending on their goals. Keep in mind that all of these products will not do the work for you or make you any better but they will help you improve your lifestyle in the gym and outside the gym.




Apple Watch


Whether you run, walk, swim, row, hike, or do yoga, the Apple Watch can track your exercise sessions and show your workout statistics in real-time. For most workouts, that means showing you the time elapsed, with distance traveled, pace, heart rate, and calories burned. One of the Apple Watch’s core fitness features is activity tracking. Activity tracking helps you see how many calories goals, standing goals, and exercise goals you have left for the day. Which is measure by your height, weight, and how active you are. It keeps me accountable for hitting those goals, and the apple watch sends you a notification to remind you to stand up or remind you to hit your rings (activity goals). Another feature love about the Apple watch is that you can add your friends to see their activities goals for the day and compete with them by hitting your daily goals which increases accountability.





Massage gun


This massage device provides rapid bursts of pressure into the body’s muscle tissue (hence the rippling effect of massage guns) as its head oscillates back and forth. Masseurs and masseuses have traditionally used a series of light strikes from the hands or wrists to the given muscle group to get this effect. However, massage guns let athletes get the same benefits, but in the comfort of their own homes ( without needing to pay routinely for luxury spa services). I believe that recovery is essential to your health and that a massage gun such as the Hypervolt could increase your recovery time by 24-72 hours. Using the Hypervolt before the workout could help you lose your tight muscle, leading you to work out better. I tend to use the Hypervolt on my clients after the workout on the muscle we worked on, they would feel like a new person after we are done and walking out of the gym feeling like they are10 lbs lighter because of how relaxed the body is.







Water bottle


The U.S. National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine determined that an adequate daily fluid intake is: About 15.5 cups (3.7 liters) of fluids a day for men. About 11.5 cups (2.7 liters) of fluids a day for women. Getting enough water every day is essential for your health. Drinking water can prevent dehydration, a condition that can cause unclear thinking and mood changes as a result. Dehydration can also cause your body to overheat, leading to constipation and the development of kidney stones. Having a large water bottle with you at all times can help you maintain an average body temperature, while also lubricating and cushioning your joints. This helps protect your spinal cord and other sensitive tissues and gets rid of waste through urination. Buying a half-gallon or a one-gallon water bottle will help you drink more water throughout the day. I would tell my client to get a bigger water bottle because having a bottle with time to drink on it, could help you follow and drink more water throughout the day. Having a small water bottle will lead you to drink less water because you would have to fill up your small water bottle multiple times a day, something people often struggle with as it often becomes inconvenient throughout a busy day. Having a water bottle with you during your meal would also increase the chance of you drinking water before/during/after your meal.




Wireless earphone/earbuds


The main benefit of wireless earbuds is a no-brainer: they’re cable-free and will never get in the way of your workout. Removing the wires altogether simply erases this risk. No tangled wires. no chance of them getting in the way, and no risk of any trouble occurring due to its potential hazards such as wired getting caught in the machine or your hand get caught on the wired while performing an exercise. If you are like me, going to the gym is to clear my mind and work on myself without any distractions.




MyFitnessPal


There’s no easier way to track your food, activity, steps, water, weight, and measurements than MyFitnessPal. Think of MyFitnessPal as a personal guide on your journey to better health. You’ll have access to your daily calories, plus macronutrient and micronutrient targets designed to help you reach your goals. You build this habit at your own pace by slowly tracking what you eat throughout the day. Myfitnesspal is a great app that has helped my clients understand their eating habits, which led to great results on their fitness journey. Seeing the calories and nutrition in the food they eat helps them make healthier food choices every day. For example, after a heavy-carb breakfast, you can aim to eat more protein for lunch. I would tell my client to track their food on Myfitnesspal without changing their diet to see how much they are consuming, leading them to rethink what they put in their mouths without changing anything.
